Hyperbike riding in : (sunny southwest Europe) recently moved to less sunny northern Europe

Maybe this is why I love riding so much!

Just had a look at the August 2012 issue of Bike Magazine, the cover theme is the 40 Most Fun Bikes Ever. Guess what place are my bikes:

– The ZZR 1400 gets a very honorable 14th: “193bph gives every ride a certain frisson. But the happy coincidence that it’s a breeze to unleash sure doesn’t make it any less entertaining.”

– And the SuperDuke gets a podium finish in 3rd place behind the sister KTM 950SM and the Triumph Street Triple: “There where other big , daft bikes before the SuperDuke came along, but none felt like a BMX with a stonking V-twin strapped between the pedals. Steering is instant, happening before you’ve worked out where you want to end up. Fuelling isn’t exactly subtle either, fierce stabs of horsepower firing through the driveline as soon as the slack is taken out of throttle cables. The SuperDuke’s intense, relentless enthusiasm certainly isn’t for everyone, but it’s something to behold.”

Go buy Ride Magazine, now! 😉
